Technicians sent out after a weekend training course to learn on customer vehicles. Austin drivers deserved better than that so in 2008 I founded Austin Windshields with a straightforward commitment: bring real expertise directly to Central Texas families and businesses. That approach worked. Word spread. Customers came back and recommended us to neighbors, coworkers, and family. We have replaced over 20,000 windshields throughout the Austin metro, built relationships with every major insurance carrier, and earned 250+ five-star reviews. We are still family owned. Meet Jas Hudson, Owner and Founder
I have worked in auto glass for over 30 years, starting in the early 1990s when windshields were simpler and ADAS cameras did not exist. I learned the trade properly, built expertise across every aspect of the business from chip repairs to complex installations requiring complete ADAS recalibration, and watched the industry transform completely over three decades.
After seeing too many companies cut corners and treat customers like account numbers, I founded Austin Windshields to prove that professional service and honest business practices could succeed in this industry.
